Our optometrist will perform a thorough examination of your eyes including a prescription check for distance or reading glasses. They will also examine the health of your eyes for conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration. cataracts and dry eyes. This is why it is extremely important for those who are diagnosed or are borderline diabetics to have a regular diabetic eye exam with an optometrist. Our optometrist will be able to assess the health of your eyes and identify any early signs of diabetic changes and develop a management plan accordingly. We are also happy to work with your GP to create a Care Plan for you.
